Blah 謎底 Blah Cheap Cheap
FishLamb is not happy with Safeway's benefit package. :p
今日有個Orientation, 好多謎底終於解開了...
1. 我唔係屬於工會架.
2. Cheap - 得兩個禮拜假期(vs 4 weeks when I was with VCH), 而且好似第一年係無假期添呀!
3. Cheap - 又話有得供我讀書, 點知要做夠一年先囉!
4. Cheap - 眼鏡allowance 得$100 per 2 years (vs $200 per 2 years @VCH)
5. Cheap - Stat Holiday 要做夠1 個月先有得pay, 所以嚟緊的Remembrance Day 我無pay 架!
6. Cheap - Sick leave 先好笑, take more than 3 days 就當"short term disability", 咁都算啦, 但衰在如果你take Friday & the following Monday, 你唔好以為你take 左兩日only, 佢地竟然計埋你星期六日都病, 所以頭尾係4 日, what the heck??
7. Cheap - 去Safeway 買野無員工價的, 唔駛望.
8. 有D 野都幾好嘅, 不過係例如有免費心理輔導, 或者out of country 有突發事故就有coverage 咁囉! 不過, 我都唔望依D 有用得著的一日啦!! 所以咪又係晒氣.
...唉, 搬過嚟丫, sunk cost 都已經唔計啦, 份工又唔係真係話好好. 唉, 搞乜? =/
Well, maybe I shouldn't complain... But I'm not happy wor.
都係番左兩日工嗟, 媽咪起勢問我中唔中意份工... -_-"
又問埋D 我唔識答嘅問題喇.
其實我已經放棄左搵一份自己中意嘅工架喇, 求其穩穩定定有飯開咪算囉.
唉. (我係咪太灰呢?)

I guess the VCH's benefits was really good!! You can take 4 weeks off?!? a total of 28 days!! I guess Safeway is rather safe to them? Cause they might think u are using the long weekend for taking break or flying back to YVR?? I was desperate when I face this situation few years ago.. cause the previous job offer was really sunk cost!! Hong Kong job's benefit are even worst?!? 5 days work are getting less, usually u need to work long short week or 5.5 or 6 days!!!
I don't have AL in the first year too.. now just have 10 days AL?!? need to work for 5 yrs for 2 wks AL... But u have allowance and tutition subsidization later?!? What the heck?
